Millennium
Restoration & Development Corporation
is dedicated to preserving the history and grandeur of old city
residences and the construction of new homes that replicate the
historic architecture of their time. Our commitment extends beyond
the renovation of a single building or project, to the redevelopment
of neighborhoods. Understanding each vicinity’s objectives
and working closely with residents, the Alderperson, other developers,
and local agencies is essential in maintaining a strong sense
of community and the overall success of our projects.

We are extremely proud to have taken on some of St.
Louis’ most neglected and unwanted projects. We have successfully
redeveloped abandoned shells into grand new homes – homes
our clients love so much they stay. Of the more than thirty renovation
projects Millennium has completed, only three have changed hands,
and all those were sold due to the owners transferring to new jobs.
This clearly shows how pleased our homeowners are with their Millennium
homes. |

Millennium Restoration & Development
Corporation grew out of a deep interest to reinvigorate aging
St. Louis neighborhoods and develop overlooked city properties.
Mother and son partners, Claire and Tim Vogt formed the corporation
in February, 1999. Claire became a real estate agent in August of 1999 to list the properties that were developed.
Growing up, Claire lived in several homes and learned construction from her father who remodeled, added rooms, tufted doors, etc. in each of the family homes. Claire had hands on experience working with her father on these projects which led to remodeling her first home, and the custom building of her current home in 1979.
While Claire’s husband was overseas she lived with her parents in a grand old St. Louis Home where she developed a love of history and antiques from her mother.
Tim, on the other hand, came to his calling
in quite another way. While a finance major at the University
of Missouri, he began to work his way through college by doing
a lot of house painting.

|
That part-time
work progressed to refinishing hardwood floors, and eventually
to building decks and keystone walls. Tim loved seeing the results
of his hard work and decided that putting time and effort into
rebuilding old homes could be much more rewarding than working
in the field of finance.
Through these events, it soon became apparent
that forming Millennium was a natural move for this mother and
son team. Today, the company has grown to 12 employees
and has become a true family affair with Tim’s brothers
John, Chris and Rob all working along side him. |
